The Moore Metal Manufacturing Company was founded in 1922 by Albert H. Moore, Sr. as an ornamental fabricator. In 1925 Albert Moore was joined by Joseph V. Morford, Sr.
Over the years the company grew to encompass structural steel fabrication of heavy industrial buildings, commercial structures, institutional structures, ornamental fabrication of stairs, railings, ladders, and canopies. Today Moore & Morford, Inc. is operated by the third generation of the Morford family.
The main plant is located on Broad Street in South Greensburg, Pennsylvania and was built in 1926.
